Proliferative diabetic retinopathy (RLE) in a 43-year-old patient. The left eye presents with tractional retinal detachment and fibrovascular membranes in the nasal retina. The OD has silicone oil in the vitreous cavity and fibrovascular membranes. BCVA: 20/400 RE; 20/50 LE. HbA1c=10,5%.
15 years after surgery. Laser photocoagulation treatment. HbA1c=6,1%. BCVA: NPL RE; 8/10 LE.
